Hinge Health Reports 52% Revenue Growth in Q3 as It Expands Beyond Musculoskeletal Care
Hinge Health posted a 52 percent increase in third-quarter revenue, reaching $235 million, up from $154 million during the same period a year ago, according to recent financial results. The company reported adjusted earnings of 66 cents per share, surpassing Wall Street analyst expectations. Operating income on a non-GAAP basis rose 154 percent to $77.2 million.
Chief Executive Officer Daniel Perez attributed the growth primarily to the company’s core musculoskeletal care platform while noting early traction in newer clinical categories. During an earnings call with analysts and investors, executives outlined plans to scale offerings in neurology and gastrointestinal care by integrating newly acquired services into their existing application infrastructure.
Expanding Into Migraine and Gastrointestinal Care
Originally established to provide software and artificial intelligence-driven tools for joint and muscle health, the platform is actively branching into multi-condition care. Company leadership highlighted early access results for its migraine program, which reported a 23 percent reduction in monthly migraine days and a 28 percent reduction in migraine duration among surveyed members. Management noted that roughly half of surveyed participants achieved clinically meaningful improvements.
To support its expansion into gastrointestinal health, Hinge Health completed the acquisition of Cylinder Health for $105 million in cash. Leadership plans to integrate Cylinder’s existing digestive care program into the primary software framework by summer 2027, with meaningful revenue contributions anticipated in 2028 after a full sales cycle.
- Core musculoskeletal care remains the primary revenue driver and largest segment of the business.
- The migraine program has expanded to reach more than 9 million lives across over 800 clients.
- Executives indicated potential interest in future hardware acquisitions to support virtual care delivery.
Client Adoption and Financial Outlook
Hinge Health reported an active client count of 3,270 as of September 30, marking a 28 percent increase year-over-year. The company’s last-twelve-months billings rose 54 percent to $960 million. Operational efficiency also improved, with third-quarter gross margins reaching 87 percent and free cash flow hitting $113 million.
Driven by strong year-to-date performance and robust customer acquisition, management raised its financial outlook for the full year. Projected 2026 revenue is now expected to land between $879 million and $881 million, representing a 50 percent year-over-year increase at the midpoint. Non-GAAP income from operations is projected to reach up to $268 million.
Ryan Daniels, group head of healthcare technology and services at William Blair, wrote in an analyst note that the company demonstrates clear market leadership across both product capabilities and go-to-market strategies, maintaining a strong long-term risk-reward profile despite trading at a premium compared to industry peers.
